Back Pay Reporting

Back Pay Submission:  

  • Claimant:  If you have received unemployment benefits and were later paid back pay from your employer, you must submit that information here to have adjustments made to your claim.
  • Employer:  If you are an employer that has issued back pay of wages/earnings to an employee that you believe was also collecting unemployment insurance, you must submit that information to Iowa Workforce Development to make required adjustments.  This does include any wages you paid due to receiving the Paycheck Protection Program or a similar program.
