Partner to Sponsor a Workshop on I-9 Employment Documentation and Related Issues
ORANGE CITY, IOWA – Iowa Workforce Development and the Upper Northwest Iowa Employers’ Council will host a seminar on:
• I-9 Documentation,
• the DHS IMAGE Program
• E-Verify
The Seminar will be held in Rooms 1 & 2 in the lower level of the Orange City Downtown Campus, 400 Central Ave NW, Orange City Iowa, on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
The speaker will be Special Agent Bob Kyle of the Office of Investigations, Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He will include information on detecting fraudulent identification documents; the IMAGE program (ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers); E-Verify Employment Eligibility Program; anti-discrimination procedures; proper hiring procedures; and employers’ responsibility for document protection.
