Storm Lake Employers’ Council of Iowa to Reactivate in New Region
SPENCER, IOWA – The Storm Lake Employers’ Council of Iowa (ECI) is planning to reactivate in a different Iowa Workforce Development region. Once part of the IowaWORKS North Central Iowa region, the Storm Lake ECI will now be part of the IowaWORKS Northwest Iowa region area due to its proximity.
The Storm Lake ECI is a local business group supported by IowaWORKS Northwest Iowa and is part of the statewide ECI system. This group addresses workforce issues, and provides both educational and networking opportunities for business people and human resource professionals. It will hold interactive workshops designed to help businesses learn methods to better run their business by saving time and money. A list of meeting topics and times will be established in the near future. All businesses, human resource personnel, attorneys, financial officers, payroll staff and managers are invited to attend ECI meetings.
The IowaWORKS Northwest Iowa region will now contain the following counties: Lyon, Sioux, Osceola, O’Brien, Dickinson, Clay, Emmet, Palo Alto, Kossuth and Buena Vista. While the IowaWORKS North Central Iowa region will contain the following counties: Pocahontas, Calhoun, Humboldt, Wright, Webster and Hamilton.
