DES MOINES, IOWA – The IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines will be providing services at a new location at 200 Army Post Road starting Monday, Nov. 20.
“When the lease at our current location was not renewed, we sought to identify the best solution for our new space,” said Beth Townsend, Director of Iowa Workforce Development. “We are excited that our IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines is moving to a location that we believe will increase access to and enhance our services.”
The center is currently located at 430 East Grand Ave. Services will be delivered at that location until noon on Friday, Nov. 17. The new center will open the following Monday at 9 a.m.
“We are working hard make sure Iowans can continue to access our services as we move the operation to its new location,” said Jennifer Reha, the district manager responsible for the IowaWORKS Center in Des Moines. “The new space will give us more room to deliver enhanced services to the job seekers and employers who rely on our support.”
IowaWORKS, a proud partner of the American Job Center network, provides job seeker services such as employment searches, resume and cover letter assistance, mock interviews and workforce training. Businesses can receive worker recruitment services.
