Education Jobs on IowaWORKS.gov

Beginning July 1, Iowa education organizations will be required to post any vacant positions on IowaWORKS.gov

Gov. Reynolds has signed into law Senate File 560, which provides appropriations to various education entities. A portion of this bill eliminates the Teach Iowa job posting system. Division XVI of SF560 instructs Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Education, to establish a system that allows the Iowa Department of Education, school districts, charter schools, Area Education Agencies and accredited nonpublic schools to post job openings. To meet this requirement, IowaWorks.gov will replace Teach Iowa for all education-related job postings starting July 1.
