Eligible Training Provider

Certification Process

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) will certify training providers whose performance qualifies them to receive Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds to train Adults and Dislocated Workers. Training providers will be determined to be eligible, initially as well as subsequently, in accordance with policy approved by the State Workforce Development Board.

An application for each program must be submitted through the IowaWORKS system for consideration. Each program of training services must be described, including appropriate performance and cost information. The paper application is no longer used.

Training institutions may contact ETPL@iwd.iowa.gov for assistance.
