Iowa Workforce Development will begin mailing form 1099-G on Jan 21, 2019. The 1099-G includes any unemployment insurance benefits issued December 29, 2017, through December 28, 2018, and any federal and/or state taxes that were withheld. The Internal Revenue Service and the State Department of Revenue and Finance will also be provided this information.
If you do not receive your notice by February 1, 2018, or you have changed your address since you last claimed benefits, contact the customer service line at (866) 239-0843 to update your address and request a duplicate copy be mailed to you.
