Employer’s Network Taskforce Presents: The Talent Crunch
FORT DODGE - On Wednesday, March 12th, the Employer’s Network Taskforce in Fort Dodge will be hosting a presentation about the impending Talent Crunch. This presentation will discuss the coming and current talent crunch and discuss the impact not only nation-wide but specifically in Iowa. Nick Reddin, Business Development Manager with Manpower in Des Moines will be returning as a guest speaker to offer practical solutions to try and head off and deal with this scarcity of talent. He will also talk in depth about the mature worker and the hidden resource they are to the workforce. All attendees will also have the opportunity to receive Manpower’s book called Hiring for Success. This is a fun, but very informational presentation that will help equip you to deal with today’s world of work. Business owners, supervisors, and human resources management are encouraged to attend.
The Employer’s Network Taskforce is a local employer’s group that is supported by Iowa Workforce Development and the Fort Dodge Area Chamber of Commerce to provide educational programs for employers and to provide an opportunity for employers to network and share information to enhance the workplace. It is part of the statewide Employers’ Council of Iowa, working in partnership with Iowa Workforce Development to meet the workforce needs of Iowa businesses.
