Cedar Rapids Workforce Development Center Set to Re-Open

CEDAR RAPIDS – After relocating to a temporary facility due to the flooding, the Cedar Rapids Workforce Center will re-open to full operations on Monday, June 23rd at their regular location, 800 Seventh Street SE. The office will be open regular business hours, 8:30 – 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.

“I want to thank Cedar Rapids for allowing us to use the Regis Middle School this past week as a temporary facility,” indicated Elisabeth Buck, Iowa Workforce Development Director. “This allowed us the opportunity to provide critical services needed in Cedar Rapids this past week.”

Iowa Workforce Development provides a wide variety of employment related services to both Iowans and businesses in the Cedar Rapids area, including job search assistance, unemployment assistance, job postings, skill assessments, employment regulatory information and more.
