IowaWORKS Cedar Valley Sponsoring Home Grown Rural Job Fair for Veterans

Denver, IA – IowaWORKS Cedar Valley and American Legion Acker-Mathias Post 653 will hold a Home Grown Rural Job Fair for Veterans on Thursday, September 13. Free to the public, the job fair will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and will be held at the American Legion Acker Mathias Post 653 at 161 East Main Street in Denver.

In addition to the job fair, a special lunch will be provided courtesy of the Post. Attendees will be able to visit with over 30 local and regional employers who are currently hiring. All attendees should bring copies of their resumes and be prepared for on the spot interviews.

The Home Grown Rural Job Fair is a great opportunity to meet and visit with prospective employers, so dress properly, bring a copy of your resume, a positive attitude and come meet your potential new employer.
