Des Moines - Iowa Workforce Development Partners with Faith Based and
Community Organizations, Open House for Iowa Career Access Points
Des Moines – Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) has partnered with Faith Based and Community Organizations to open pilot Iowa Career Access Points (ICAP) across the state. The ICAPs create additional entrance points into the workforce system for individuals at familiar community locations. IWD will hold an Open House media event on Sunday, October 12th at 11:30am to showcase one of the Access Points supported by the Des Moines office located at 1808 E, Park Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50320 – the Wat Lao Temple in the red house. During this event, attendees will learn more about Iowa Career Access Points within Polk County and surrounding communities.
