Job Seekers Invited to the Dubuque Apprenticeship Job Fair

Dubuque, IA – An Apprenticeship Job Fair will be conducted on Wednesday, February 18th to present information regarding the opportunities available for both veterans and non-veterans.

This event will be held at Iowa Workforce Development located at 680 Main St. 2nd floor, from 10-2 p.m (Veterans only from 10-Noon). This job fair will allow the veterans to meet directly with representatives in order to answer their questions regarding apprenticeships.

“It is a pleasure for us to be able to offer this Job Fair opportunity,” said Elisabeth Buck, director of Iowa Workforce Development. “This is a chance to build relationships with some exciting earn-as-you-learn programs.”

Representatives from the following building trades will attend: area Armed Forces recruiters, carpenters cement masons, electricians, HVAC, insulators, millwrights, pipe fitters, plumbers and sheet metal. Additional trades may be added to the list until the day of the event.
