Dubuque, IA – A new look for the Dubuque Regional Job Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2006, requests the participation of area employers to join in the effort. The job fair planning committee announces a different approach this year to target specific skilled professional job seekers. According to Wendy Mihm-Herold, Regional Manager of Iowa Workforce Development, “Our goal this year is to develop a list of professional and skilled jobs that we will target recruitment to potential job seekers or individuals who want to advance in their career.”

Employers who employ personnel in health care, computer programming, accountants, retail, marketing, education, childcare, graphics, sales, agriculture are just examples of the possible career interests of job seekers attending the job fair. The job market today and in the future is very competitive, and participating in a job fair is an efficient and cost effective manner to reach qualified candidates. For more information or for interested companies who want to participate in the regional job fair, please immediately contact Karissa Keleher, Telegraph Herald Recruitment Specialist at (563) 588-5765 or e-mail her at kkeleher@wcinet.com.
