Iowa Workforce Development Deputy Director Appointed Chair of National Committee

Des Moines, IA – The National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) announced today that Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) Deputy Director Ed Wallace was appointed Chair of their Labor Market Information Committee. 

Wallace has been the Deputy Director of IWD since 2011. In this role, Wallace oversees the Labor Market Information Division, the Workforce Services team and is the legislative liaison for the agency.  

Wallace’s appointment is for the 2016 NASWA year, running October 2015 through September 2016.

It is an organization of state administrators of unemployment insurance laws, employment services, training programs, employment statistics and labor market information.
