IowaWORKS Access Point Provide Manning Residents with Workforce Services

DES MOINES – Iowa Workforce Development has partnered with the Manning Public Library to provide virtual workforce services to the area communities. The access point creates access to workforce services through a familiar community location.

“The access point system provides Iowans with the opportunity to utilize workforce services in a convenient location close to home,” indicated Iowa Workforce Development director Teresa Wahlert. “With over 700 access points, 15 regional centers and 4 satellite offices we have more than tripled our access for Iowans and we will continue adding locations throughout the year.”

The Manning Public Library is open 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday and 10:00-noon on Saturday. The library is a strong community partner providing activities and services that encourages community involvement for all residents.

By utilizing current community locations, Iowa Workforce Development is able to provide cohesive workforce services to a broader audience within local communities not served with a physical workforce office. Individuals can connect with a workforce professional through 866-239-0843 or live chat at an access point. The access technology is available from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 AM till 3:00 PM on Saturdays. Staff members will continue to be available from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM Monday through Friday within the regional centers and satellite offices.
