Veterans Invited to Attend the Veterans Day Celebration
Burlington, IA – Veterans are invited to attend a special luncheon held in their honor at the Iowa Workforce Development Center, located at 1000 North Roosevelt. Held on Tuesday, November 10th from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the luncheon will feature a delicious meal made by the Workforce Center staff.
“We thank all Veterans for the sacrifices they’ve made for our country. We’d like all local Veterans to stop in and enjoy a good meal and conversation with fellow Veterans in honor of their day,” said Elisabeth Buck, director of Iowa Workforce Development.
