Attention businesses recruiting employees: Employers are invited to register now to attend Regional Job Fairs 2006. Two Opportunities to Recruit ---- Two Locations to Serve You Better----Recruiting Made Easy!
On Tuesday April 25th, a Regional Job Fair will be held at the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer, Iowa from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. On Thursday April 27th, another Regional Job Fair will be held at the All-Seasons Center in Sioux Center, Iowa from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Iowa Workforce Development’s Regional Job Fairs 2006 invites area businesses to recruit candidates from Northwest Iowa who are actively seeking employment by reserving space to showcase your business. At the 2005 Regional Job Fairs, over 50 businesses participated, representing a wide rage of job opportunities in manufacturing, construction, welding, social services, entertainment, health, military, financial services, and many more. Comments from businesses included “I hired on the spot”, “exposure was valuable”, “good candidates”, “as long as I was able to get one possible worker/lead/prospect, it was worth it”, and “I was able to network with other employers and service providers”. The events were well organized and provided an opportunity to offer information and job opportunities to interested candidates.
Iowa Workforce Development Job Fair 2006 Employer Exhibit Booth fees:
• To attend one Job Fair - $75.00
• To attend both Job Fairs (most effective recruiting) - $ 85.00
• Registration received after April 7, 2006 - $100.00
Fees charged cover expenses such as facility rental, advertising and associated costs. Chairs, a table and refreshments will be provided. Electricity, Internet hook-ups and additional tables are available for an additional fee.
Regional Job Fairs 2006 is sponsored by these leaders in economic development in Northwest Iowa: Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission (NWIPDC), Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative (ILEC), Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC), North West Rural Electric Cooperative (NWREC), Northwest Iowa Economic Developers, Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC), Upper Northwest Iowa Employers’ Council (ECI), Lakes Area Employers’ Council (ECI), the Kossuth County ECI, and the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor of Opportunity.
