WASHINGTON - Iowa Workforce Development announces new hours and staffing for the Washington office, located at the Kirkwood Community College Center 111 Westview Drive.
After 34 years of service, Wayne Bowman has announced his retirement. He is replaced by Workforce Advisor - Susan Clark. Clark has 14 years of experience serving Iowans with Iowa Workforce Development and has worked in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City offices. Susan will be available to provide assistance to job seekers, businesses and the community on Monday and Thursday. Her office hours will be 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 – 4:30 p.m.
Iowa Workforce Development self-services are available on-line during non-operational hours and through cooperative efforts with Kirkwood Community College. Computers will be available for use during Kirkwood’s open hours. Services accessible on our website www.iowaworkforce.org include job postings, job search assistance registrations and unemployment insurance benefits filings.
