Iowa Adds 11,200 Jobs in June
Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased slightly to 3.2 percent for June. The state’s jobless rate was 3.8 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate rose to 4.4 percent in June.

Statistics from the job postings published on iowajobs.org are now available on iowalmi.gov. The number of monthly postings are counted by occupation, county, and ZIP code.

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) conducted the sixth Workforce Needs Assessment survey and the results are now available here.
Iowa's Unemployment Rate Remains at 3.1 Percent
Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 3.1 percent in April. The state’s jobless rate was 3.8 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 4.4 percent in April.
