Iowa Economy Gains 5,100 Jobs in June
Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased slightly to 4.0 percent in June from 3.9 percent in May. The state’s jobless rate was 3.6 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate rose to 4.9 percent in June compared to 4.7 percent in May.

Iowa’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained at 3.9 percent in May. The state’s jobless rate was 3.6 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 4.7 percent in May compared to 5.0 percent in April.
