Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), in partnership with the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), announced in May 2018 that a Laborshed Study would be conducted for one community in every county in Iowa at no cost to local development organizations and their partners.

These are the twelfth and thirteenth rounds of studies completed under this new program. To date, 78 of 99 individual studies have been completed for communities across Iowa under the new funding program. Regional studies have also been released. All results are available on our website.

The study results are available in highly visual and interactive formats using data visualization software from Tableau and ArcGIS.
