Community Invited to Social Security Work Incentive Program Workshop
Ft. Madison, IA – A workshop will be held on Thursday, May 7th to present information regarding the Social Security Work Incentives Program and the Home and Community based Waiver services program.
Held in Ft. Madison at the Comfort Inn and Suites, located at 6169 Reve Court, Hwy 61 & Hwy 2, from 1–4:30 p.m., this workshop is an informative presentation aimed at sharing information about how an individual’s Social Security Disability Insurance or SSI benefits will be affected by working. This workshop will also help individuals who are receiving services through Iowa Waiver Programs.
1:00-1:30 - Sign-in and Introductions
1:30-2:30 - Social Security Work Incentives Employment Service and Providers Panel
2:30-3:00 - Refreshments
3:00-4:30 - Home and Community Based Services - Evaluation and individual sessions with presenters and providers
