New On Line Tax System Presentation – My Iowa UI
SPENCER, IOWA - The Lakes Area Employers’ Council (ECI) will be meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Spencer Hy-Vee meeting room, 819 N Grand Ave, in Spencer, Iowa. All employers, human resource personnel, accounting, payroll, and other staff members are invited to attend. The featured speaker will be Andrew Harrison, IWD Business Marketing Specialist. Food & Beverage will be provided free, courtesy of Lakes Area Employers’ Council. This presentation is valid for two free hours of HRCI credit.
The presentation will explain a new online tax system, My Iowa UI. It will give attendees the opportunity to see actual screens of the system before it is released in April. The presentation will show important functions available to users of the system, and allow time for a question & answer session.
The development of My Iowa UI was based in part on feedback we have received from staff, employers and other 3rd party filers. This new system will improve on the functionality of the Unemployment Insurance Tax System and replace a system that is approaching 40 years of age. My Iowa UI gives employers, accountants and other 3rd party filers the power to manage their tax account securely and conveniently.
