Education Jobs Now on IowaWORKS

Iowa education organizations are now required to post vacant positions on IowaWORKS.gov, Iowa's largest jobs bank.

Gov. Reynolds signed into law Senate File 560, which provides appropriations to various education entities. A portion of this bill eliminated the Teach Iowa job posting system. Division XVI of SF560 instructs Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Education, to establish a system that allows the Iowa Department of Education, school districts, charter schools, Area Education Agencies and accredited nonpublic schools to post job openings. To meet this requirement, IowaWORKS.gov has replaced Teach Iowa for all education-related job postings.
